Beautiful hiking area. A mostly paved path leads around the reservoir. Distance approx. 15km.

Parking is available, free of charge. There are walking trails, information boards about the dam. Overall, it's great for walking.

Start from the north parking lot at the dam. The circular trail around the reservoir is approximately 14 km. We hiked for about 3 hours. The trail is paved throughout, with some gravel or asphalt. Very easy to walk! Beautiful views. Gentle gradient. Numerous benches and a few huts along the trail. Ideal for cyclists, too. Overall, a highly recommended hike.

Five stars, absolutely. A peaceful, beautiful place where you can let your thoughts wander and forget everything around you. It's best to walk along the bottom of the dam and up the stairs at the end of the weir – see picture. This rugged climb up the hillside is manageable for young adventurers, but definitely has its challenges.

Plenty of space for campers, very quiet, and a beautiful walking/cycling area. Definitely recommended. Close to a reservoir.

Quite a large volume. Free of charge. A great starting point for a short stroll around the dam or a lovely hike in the region.
